Signs you up for Mediref. Signup is self-serve and takes a few minutes; no card is asked for. If your practice is already on Mediref, the same steps get you into it instead of making a second account (see Join a practice on Mediref).
Steps
- On the Mediref home page choose to create an account, then click I work at a healthcare practice.
- Enter your Email and Your name, then click Continue. Your name is how the people you work with will see you inside Mediref; “Reception” is fine for a shared login.
- Type the 6-digit code Mediref emails you into the Enter verification code step.
- On Find your practice, check whether your practice is already listed:
- If Mediref knows the email you just verified as your practice’s contact email, it shows the practice at the top and asks Is this you?. Yes, that’s my practice puts you straight in.
- Otherwise search by name. A practice marked On Mediref can be asked to let you in; a practice marked Listed is in the directory but not yet a Mediref practice, and picking it turns the listing into your account, with any letters already sent to your email waiting in your inbox.
- If it’s not there, click Add your practice.
- Fill in Your practice: the practice name and phone number are required, the address and website can wait. If another Mediref practice already uses that phone number, Mediref says so and offers to ask them to let you in instead.
- Your team: add at least one practitioner, since your referral network searches for practitioners by name. Anyone you give a login email to is invited straight away.
- Pick a plan, or Continue with Free plan. That’s the last step; you land in your inbox.
